Transcript and Audio File Requests

Transcripts

To obtain a transcript copy, fill out and sign the Transcript Order Form.  Then, either file it electronically into the Court's CM/ECF system using the docketing event "Transcript Request," which is under the Appeals & Transcripts menu option in ECF, or deliver it to the clerk's office. The clerk's office will arrange for transmittal of the audio file of the proceedings to a transcriptionist. The transcriptionist will contact you to confirm the specifications for the job and to collect a deposit before starting your order. You make all payments to the transcriptionist and not to the court. The format, delivery schedules, and fee requirements are set forth by U.S. Judicial Conference standards and are listed in the table below at a price per page. Please note that the timeline for a transcriptionist to complete the transcript does not begin until the deposit is remitted. Please also note that next-day and 2-hour transcript requests are not available.
