Notice of Texas Western Bankruptcy Court's CM/ECF unavailability beginning Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 8:00 pm (CDT) through Monday, November 16, 2020 at 8:00 am (CDT).

Wednesday, October 28, 2020

Dear Bankruptcy Practitioners,

Due to installation of NextGen CM/ECF version 1.5.2, the Texas Western Bankruptcy Court's CM/ECF system will be unavailable for filing, as well as access to PACER and VCIS for queries, between the hours of 8:00 pm CDT on Thursday, November 12, 2020 and 8:00 am CDT on Monday, November 16, 2020.  This is a longer outage window than usual, so please plan accordingly.

The Court's website, located at http://www.txwb.uscourts.gov/, will be available during the maintenance window.

As a prerequisite to NextGen CM/ECF, attorneys and other authorized e-filers must obtain their own PACER account and upgrade it.  Your PACER account is your login to CM/ECF, and therefore you MUST have your own individual PACER account.  E-filing attorneys are not able to use shared PACER accounts.  Please review the NextGen informational webpage on the Court's website for more information.  https://www.txwb.uscourts.gov

After upgrading or obtaining your PACER account, you must then link your PACER account to your current CM/ECF account on or after November 16, 2020 at 8 am (CDT).  You will not be able to link your account before November 16, 2020 at 8 am (CDT).  Moreover, on and after November 16, 2020, you will not be able to e-file documents into NextGen CM/ECF until your PACER account is linked to your existing Texas Western Bankruptcy CM/ECF e-filing account.  For additional information on linking your PACER account to the Court's local CM/ECF, please visit  https://www.txwb.uscourts.gov/linking-pacer-account-nextgen.  If you have any questions, please email TXWB_ECF-REGISTRAR@txwb.uscourts.gov.

We apologize for any inconvenience.  If you experience a filing emergency, please contact Rob Lawson at 210-278-5720 or via e-mail at rob_lawson@txwb.uscourts.gov.

Best regards,

United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas
