(a) Maintenance and Disposition of Records.
Unless otherwise ordered by the Court on notice and hearing, a debtor shall maintain all books and
records until the entry of an order closing the case. A trustee who is in possession of books and
records of the debtor may, on notice and hearing, destroy, abandon, store, or return to the debtor
all or a portion of those books and records. Such notice shall include a detailed description of
the books and records and the negative notice language as provided in L. Rule 9014-1(a). Notice
shall be given to the United States Attorney, the U.S. trustee, and the Special Procedures Office
for the Internal Revenue Service, in addition to those persons otherwise entitled to notice under
L. Rule 9013-1.
(b) Debtor's Duty to Report.
In a chapter 11 case, and in an operating chapter 7 case, the debtor in possession or the trustee
shall file a Monthly Operating Report, in the form prescribed by the U.S. trustee. The Monthly
Operating Report shall be filed on or before the 21st day of each month following the month the
subject of the report until a plan is confirmed, or the case is converted or dismissed. A signed
copy of the Monthly Operating Report shall be furnished to the U.S. trustee.
