In the event the United States Congress does not enact a Continuing Resolution by midnight Saturday, September 30, 2023, and appropriations lapse, the Federal Judiciary will not shut down.  The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas will remain open for regular business.  Hearings and trials will continue as scheduled.

The Court's website, located at www.txwb.uscourts.gov, will remain available for general inquiries.  PACER/ECF will remain available for electronic filing by attorneys.
