All fees are payable by MONEY ORDER or CASHIER CHECK (only).  Cash is not accepted. Personal checks or credit cards are not accepted from debtors.  Cashier checks and money orders must be payable to: "Clerk, US Bankruptcy Court".

*If the case had previously been dismissed for failure to pay the original filing fee, both the balance of the original filing fee and the reopening fee must be paid. The fee must be collected when the motion is filed to reopen a case in which the court did not enter a discharge.  The fee must not be charged in the following situations: (1) to permit a party to file a complaint to obtain a determination under Rule 4007(b); (2) when a debtor files a motion to reopen a case based upon an alleged violation of the terms of the discharge under 11 U.S.C. §524; and, (3) when document redaction is the only purpose for reopening the case (although, the $28 redaction fee provided below must still be paid).  The court may waive this fee under appropriate circumstances or may defer payment of the fee from trustees pending discovery of additional assets.

Chapter 7 Voluntary Petition

Petitions will not be accepted without one of the following:

If you cannot afford to pay the full fee at the time of filing, you may apply to pay the fee in installments by submitting Form 103A - Application for Individuals to Pay Filing Fee in Installments. If the fee is to be paid in installments, the debtor must be an individual and must file a signed application for court approval.  At least fifty percent of the filing fee must be paid within seven days of the filing of the petition for debtors applying to pay in installments.  Noncompliance may result in dismissal of the bankruptcy case without further notice or hearing.  The filing fee is payable by money order or cashier check.  When filing an installment fee application, the number of proposed installments cannot exceed four (with the first payment of at least fifty percent of the filing fee due with the petition, or no later than seven days after the petition is filed) and the final installment must be paid no later than 120 days after the petition is filed.

or

If you cannot afford to pay either the fee in full at the time of filing or in installments, then you may request a waiver of the filing fee if your income is less than 150 percent of the official poverty line applicable to your family size. You may obtain information about the poverty guidelines at www.uscourts.gov. To request a waiver complete and submit Form 103B - Application for Waiver of Chapter 7 Filing Fee along with an Order Granting Application for Waiver of Chapter 7 Filing Fee.
