ECF Browser Troubleshooting

Clear Browser (IE, Firefox, Safari) Cache

If you do not see the Bankruptcy or Adversary menu items on the Blue Main Menu Bar after first logging into CM/ECF, it is most probably due to a recent session where you used your PACER login and your browser cache (temporary files) did not clear.  The menus are different depending on the account (ECF or PACER) that you use for logging in.  Unless the cache is cleared, the previous menu will appear.  This can be resolved with the following steps.

  1. Log out of CM/ECF.
  2. Close out your browser (Internet Explorer - IE, Firefox, or Safari)
  3. Restart your browser
  4. Log into CM/ECF using your ECF login.

If you still cannot see the Bankruptcy and Adversary menu options, you must manually clear the cache (temporary files) within your browser.  First log out of CM/ECF and use the link below that corresponds to the browser you are using on your computer.

There are known issues with the Safari Browser and it is not supported for accessing the CM/ECF system.  The instructions are provided as a courtesy, but it is recommended that you use Firefox on a Mac Computer.
