2018 Modified Employment Dispute Resolution Plan

The Judicial Conference of the United States, at its September 2018 Session, adopted changes to the Model Employment Dispute Resolution Plan (the Plan) to cover paid and unpaid interns and externs and extending the time to file a complaint from 30 to 180 days, respectively. The Fifth Circuit Judicial Council, at its October 29, 2018 meeting, approved these changes to the Plan for inclusion in the respective EDR Plans of all courts and offices of the Fifth Circuit.  The the Plan is effective for claimants who initiated Employment Dispute Resolution claims on or after September 14, 2018.
