NOTICE: EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2017, ADOPTION OF DISTRICT FORM CHAPTER 13 PLAN

Please be advised that effective November 1, 2017, all chapter 13 plans filed on or after November 1, 2017,  must use the attached District Form Chapter 13 Plan for all chapter 13 cases filed in the Western District of Texas.  A Consolidated Standing Order for the Adoption of a District Form Chapter 13 Plan will be entered with an effective date of November 1, 2017, requiring that chapter 13 debtors must use the District Form Plan.  Pursuant to the Consolidated Standing Order for the Adoption of a District Form Chapter 13 Plan entered in the Western District of Texas and effective November 1, 2017, a district-wide form Chapter 13 Plan has been adopted for use in all divisions in all cases filed on and after November 1, 2017 (“District-Wide Form Plan”).  The District-Wide Form Plan may be revised periodically. The Clerk shall make available to the public the District-Wide Form Plan and any revised District-Wide Form Plans.

The District-Wide Form Plan must be used by all chapter 13 debtors in all cases filed in all Divisions on and after November 1, 2017.  For all cases filed before November 1, 2017, the form Chapter 13 Plan adopted by prior Divisional Order for that Division  must be used by chapter 13 debtors, unless otherwise ordered by the Court in a particular Chapter 13 case.
