- Courtroom Technology: e-Exhibits All courtrooms in Austin, El Paso, San Antonio, and Waco support the ability to display exhibits electronically. Using a notebook computer it is possible to display multimedia presentations, images, or documents on all display monitors in the courtroom simply by connecting the computer’s HDMI port to the built-in HDMI connections. HDMI ports are 15-pin video connectors found on most computers. Parties with cases being heard in the equipped courtrooms are encouraged to bring in their laptops to display their exhibits electronically. It is the responsibility of the presenting attorney to ensure before court, that his/her laptop is compatible with the system in the courtroom. - Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi): The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas has updated the wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) in the courtrooms and now requires a password, which is located on the counsel tables in all of the courtrooms.

- PACER (Public Access to Case Electronic Records): Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information from federal appellate, district and bankruptcy courts, and the PACER Case Locator via the Internet. - Multi-Court Voice Case Information System (McVCIS): McVCIS allows you to call the U. S. Bankruptcy Court's computer from any touch tone telephone and hear the following case information read to you by a computer-synthesized voice. Please click here for more information.
- Digital Audio Files: As of May 5, 2014, we’ll be providing digital audio recordings of court proceedings via the PACER system. In March 2010, the Judicial Conference approved the plan to make digital audio recordings available on PACER after a two year pilot project showed significant public interest in accessing these files. Prior to the pilot, access was only possible by obtaining a CD recording from a court clerks office for $30. The new digital files will cost $2.40 to download. The presiding judge will determine which audio recordings will be posted on PACER. Please click here for more information.
